ASHLAND AROMELT® packaging adhesives
	AROMELT® packaging adhesives are specifically designed to meet the demanding needs of the packaging and product assembly markets. They are 100% solid, solvent-free products that produce high strength bonds on a wide variety of substrates. The AROMELT line of packaging adhesives includes AROMELT Futura® adhesives. AROMELT Futura adhesives are EVA based packaging adhesives that offer the latest advances in hot melt polymers and resins. These chemistries make AROMELT Futura to be the most thermally stable packaging adhesives in the market, greatly reducing char, gel, and nozzle clogging. AROMELT Futura packaging adhesives are pearl white in color, non-fuming, and odorless.
Hot Melt Packaging Adhesives HAS-1256
Application: Case and carton sealing/tray forming Viscocity: 1300 cps @ 350 F Softening Point: 242 F Color: Opaque FDA Status: All ingredients in HAS-1256 are approved under the Federal regulation 21 CFR 175.105 which relates to incidental contact of adhesive with food.	The HAS-1256 is a fast setting hot melt for packaging operations. It exhibits bonds on a wide variety of board and paper stock. Created especially for new board content with high concentrations of recycled material. It has eccellent heat stability and low viscosity for good machining on all standard hot melt equipment. The HAS-1256 exhibits aggressive tack, which is important where short compression ssections are encountered.
Hot Melt Packaging Adhesives HAS-HM8538
Application: Permanent pressure sensitive Viscocity: 5,000 - 5,500 cps @ 350 F Softening Point: 172 F (tank, hose, & head temp @ 350 F) Color: Amber Heat Stability: Excellent - 100 hours @ 350 F with no skin, very slight viscosity change & very little color change.	The HAS-HM8538 is a unique pressure sensitive hot melt specifically formulates for bonding vinyl's polypropylene, and other cellulosic materials. It also has good adhesion to metal and other difficult surfaces. It has aggressive hat tack and remains pressure sensitive for a long period of time under normal temperature conditions. Sensitivity of the adhesive film is reduced when held at cold temperatures (55 F or below). Dust and moisture also reduce sensitivity.
