We’ve seen 10x sales growth from our Inside Sales team in the last year creating an opportunity for an entrepreneurial self starter to join our sales leadership team.

As the Head of Inside Sales, you’ll own the success of a core business function driving Heigl Adhesive’s growth. You’ll have the autonomy to lead the team to hit the Inside Sales Scorecard metrics.

This leader may also become a member of our Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

Heigl Adhesives receives over 250 new leads per week from inbound calls, contact forms, and emails. The Inside Sales team is responsible for:

1. Closing sales from these prospective & current customers to hit the team’s revenue targets

2. Profile these leads to identify larger B2B sales opportunities to be handed off to our Account Sales Team.

Day to Day

  • Lead, Manage, and hold team members accountable to team scorecard metrics.
  • Manage the lead routing pipeline
  • Provide real-time product information & recommendations to prospects.
  • This job will require little to no cold calling, but the team will complete 20-40 outbound calls and emails per day to warm leads.
  • “Roll-up-the-sleeves” manager who is an individual contributor as well as mgr.
  • As a member of the sales leadership team, you will help drive the vision & strategy for Sales at Heigl Adhesives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years adhesive experience
  • Proven experience exceeding inside sales/call center goals is a huge plus.
  • You must be HUNGRY to crush sales goals & view hitting your KPI (key performance indicators) as a personal challenge. Your exceptional bonus will be tied to your overachiever performance.
  • Entrepreneurial. No micro-managing here. We’re looking for a self starter with an entrepreneurial attitude to take this role and make it his/her own.
  • Exceptional computer literacy. As a digital first company, it’s imperative you can quickly learn new software solutions to enable our continued disruption of the industry “dinosaurs”.
  • Up-beat energy that elevates the team members around you.
  • Detail Oriented: ability to quickly process customer requests accurately.
  • Open to feedback on performance. We manage our business using score cards & metrics. This gives us insights into areas each of us “Rock” and areas for improvement. We commit to nurturing & training for the improvement opportunities. We ask our team members to be open to the transparency of performance & willingness to adjust course as needed. (Not everyone is comfortable with this approach, but it is essential for us to continue as an agile company taking on the industry Goliaths).

As the Inside Sales Associate, you will bring an entrepreneurial flair to our lead generation. We’ve got loads of captive prospects & current customers; chalk full of revenue potential.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to connect with these prospects leveraging your wit, charm, and charisma. Then layer in your creative right brain to find innovative tactics to help generate more leads and revenue.

The right candidate may also become a member of our Sales Leadership Team.

The Role

  • Heigl Adhesives receives over 250 new leads per week from inbound calls, contact forms, and emails. The Inside Sales team is responsible for
  • Closing sales from these prospective & current customers to hit the team’s revenue targets
  • Profile these leads to identify larger B2B sales opportunities to be handed off to our Account Sales Team.
  • Lead outbound call efforts, from our extensive marketing database, to generate additional leads & sales.
  • Provide real-time product information & recommendations to prospects.
  • Manage the lead routing pipeline to ensure larger sales potential clients are handed over to our Account Sales Team, Medium Sized Accounts are worked by your team, and that team resources aren’t monopolized by low value prospects.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • hunger for professional growth. This isn’t a position for someone who is looking for a job that they can hit the cruise control and coast each day. You must be hungry to attack the phones each day to generate leads & close sales.
  • Exceptional computer literacy. As a digital first company, it’s imperative you can quickly learn new software solutions to enable our continued disruption of the industry “dinosaurs”.
  • Up-beat energy that elevates the team members around you.
  • Detail Oriented: ability to quickly process customer requests accurately.
